Croatia is a Central European
and Mediterranean country, bordering Slovenia
in the west, Hungary in the north, Serbia in the
east, Bosnia and Herzegovina in the south, and
has a long maritime border with Italy in the Adriatic
Sea.
The climate is Mediterranean along the Adriatic
coast, meaning warm dry summers and mild winters,
and the interior of the country has a climate
that is continental, with hot summers and cold,
snowy winters.
Croatia has a complex history, but the country
is now a parliamentary democracy and is becoming
ever more popular as a holiday destination, and
in turn interest in purchasing property, or real
estate, in the country has also risen quite suddenly
in the last year or so.
There are regulations and legal documents required
when purchasing property here and we are currently
preparing appropriate developments for resale
to overseas buyers
Property prices vary greatly, being most expensive
in the main urban areas due to high demand and
note that purchasers pay about 2-3% of the purchase
price to agents and there are legal costs.
We will soon be able to provide detailed guides
to buying here and an array of appropriate properties,
in the meantime please contact us for further
information. |
